How to donate or become a Trustee
This fund is reliant on interest gained from the money donated when the fund was established.
To donate to this fund which aims to help young people gain employment contact the chairman.
Trustees of this fund need to be aware of the importance of the aspirations of young people trying to find employment and seek help from the fund.
The funding application put forward needs to be a realistic and achievable move in that direction, and not just a “holiday”. It would need a commitment to helping or directing such applicants.

"Sunderland Boys industrial School Fund, set up by our forefathers, is designed to help young persons, both boys and girls, with items such as tools, or work ware, which will enable them to gain employment. Funding is also considered for educational visits, where the experience benefits movement towards employment.
The fund will also look to assist applicants with clothing or transport costs, when attending job interviews”.
